REGISTER TO PLAY A SPORT

All athletes must register for Falcon Athletics.  

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE INSTRUCTIONS

** NEW for 2024-25, all athletes must undergo heart testing and clearance prior to participation. Testing will take place on Aug 9th for Saratoga High athletes.

Online Athletic Clearance

1. Visit www.AthleticClearance.com

2. Register. Parents register with valid email username and password. You will be asked to type in a code to verify you are human. If this step is skipped your account will not activate.

3. Login

4. Select “New Clearance” to start the process.

5. Choose the School Year in which the student plans to participate. Example: Football in Sept 2023 would be the 2023-2024 School Year.  Choose the Saratoga High School > Choose Sport.

6. Complete all required fields for Student Information, Educational History, Medical History and Signature Forms.

7. Once you reach the Confirmation Message you have completed the process.

8. All of this data will be electronically filed with your school’s Athletic Department for review.

9. Final Step: the student must return the Physical Evaluation form (completed by Physician) either to the activities office or upload it to AthleticClearance.com

10. When the student has been cleared for participation, an email notification will be sent and the student may pick up his/her Ticket to Play

Multiple Sport Athletes

You will need to complete the process for EACH sport your student-athlete is participating in, but remember that their physical is good for one calendar year. Once you complete a clearance for one sport, most of the information you have entered will be retained in the system. To register for an additional sport, select New Clearance after enter the year, school and sport most of your information will auto fill. Students may only register for ONE sport per athletic season

Physicals

The physical form your school uses can be downloaded here. After obtaining a physical exam from a licensed medical doctor please return the completed form to the activities office or upload it to your account.  Physicals are only good for one calendar year.
